01 / Before you start
Finish with a verified funding trail, a deliberately sized first trade, and a checklist for confirming or closing the position without leaving unintended orders behind.
Treat the live Alpha X interface and current official terms as the source of truth. Stop if the network, asset, address, minimum, market, or eligibility differs from what you see.
Before you begin
Access to your CEX account with withdrawals enabled and any security hold already cleared.
A wallet or account option that the live Alpha X interface currently accepts for you.
A small test amount that meets the live minimums and leaves room for displayed withdrawal, trading, and network fees.
Enough uninterrupted time to verify every status; do not make the first transfer or trade under deadline pressure.
02 / The playbook
The playbook
Experienced CEX traders who understand orders, margin, and PnL but are new to self-custody and onchain execution.
- 01
Prepare the route and your loss limit
Establish the official destination, your eligibility, and a maximum amount before moving value. Open Alpha X from a trusted bookmark or independently verified official entry. Check the current terms and regional eligibility; do not bypass access controls. Identify the wallet or account flow available in the live interface. Reject unsolicited links, support DMs, and signature requests you did not initiate. Set a total funding cap and a smaller first-trade cap that you can afford to lose in full, including fees and adverse execution. Record the exact receiving address, network, asset, minimum, and any memo or tag only if the live funding flow explicitly shows one.
CheckpointThe official domain, available route, destination details, and your funding and trade caps agree with the live interface.
If something does not match
Stop. Use the official Alpha X help center or the CEX's official support channel. Never accept destination details supplied in a private message.
- 02
Fund with a small test transfer
Prove the route with the smallest practical amount before increasing exposure. On the CEX withdrawal screen, choose only an asset and network combination that exactly matches the live Alpha X funding flow. Paste the destination, then compare its first and last characters with the trusted source. Add a memo or tag only when explicitly required. Review both minimums, the withdrawal fee, net amount, and any address-allowlist delay. The test must still meet the displayed receiving minimum. Send the test amount. Do not add a bridge or alternate network unless the live flow requires it and you understand the added contract and fee risk.
CheckpointThe CEX shows a submitted withdrawal and provides an identifier for the exact network, asset, and destination you reviewed.
If something does not match
Do not retry blindly. Save the withdrawal ID, determine whether it is pending or rejected, and resolve the reason through official CEX status and support pages.
- 03
Verify onchain and in Alpha X
Confirm the transfer independently before sending more or trading. Wait until the CEX marks the withdrawal complete and the transaction reaches the confirmation state required by the live receiving flow; timing is not guaranteed. Check the transaction identifier on an appropriate explorer reached from a trusted network source. Verify the network, destination, asset or token contract, amount, and final status. Reconnect or refresh Alpha X through the official entry and confirm the credited balance belongs to the expected wallet or account. Only after the test is visible should you consider sending the remainder of your pre-set funding cap, repeating the same checks.
CheckpointThe explorer record, wallet or account, and Alpha X agree on the network, destination, asset, and credited amount.
If something does not match
Do not send a second transfer. Preserve the transaction hash and non-sensitive screenshots, then use official support without sharing a seed phrase, private key, password, or one-time code.
- 04
Review and place the first perpetual order
Submit a deliberately small order only after understanding the live contract and risk controls. Choose a perpetual market currently listed in your live interface. Read its settlement, contract size, mark or index information, minimum order, and displayed restrictions. Set only the margin mode, leverage, and order type actually offered. Understand how each choice changes collateral at risk, liquidation, execution, and fees. Enter the smallest order that meets the live minimum and remains inside your first-trade cap. Review side, size, price or slippage exposure, estimated fees, funding, and liquidation level. Submit once, then verify whether the order is open, partially filled, filled, rejected, or cancelled. A button click alone does not prove a position exists.
CheckpointThe live Positions and Orders views show the actual result, and the position size and collateral at risk match your intent.
If something does not match
Do not increase size to force execution. Re-read the live error, minimum, balance, price, margin, and fee details; cancel stale orders before trying a corrected order.
- 05
Protect, reduce, and confirm closure
Know exactly what remains exposed and leave no unintended order or position. Confirm actual entry price, size, margin mode, collateral, unrealized PnL, liquidation information, funding, and every open order shown. If stop-loss, take-profit, or reduce-only controls are offered, verify their trigger, size, status, and behavior. They reduce risk but do not guarantee execution or price. Practice a partial or full close only if it fits your plan. Review the close side, size, order type, and execution exposure before submitting. Verify the remaining position and open-order totals. Cancel unintended orders and confirm a zero position if your goal was a full close.
CheckpointYou can account for the final position, open orders, collateral, fees, and realized or unrealized PnL; a planned full close shows no remaining position.
If something does not match
Treat an unavailable interface or unconfirmed close as active risk. Use official status and support routes, preserve identifiers, and do not assume closure until live state confirms it.
03 / Risk
Risk checks before funds move
Eligibility can change
Alpha X access and derivatives availability may vary by jurisdiction, account, and current terms. Confirm eligibility before funding; do not use this guide to evade restrictions.
Transfers may be irreversible
A wrong address, network, asset contract, or required memo can cause permanent loss. A successful test reduces uncertainty but does not guarantee a later transfer.
Self-custody shifts responsibility
Never share a seed phrase, private key, password, or one-time code. Reject approvals or signatures that do not match an action you initiated on the verified site.
Perpetuals can lose the full margin quickly
Leverage amplifies price moves. Liquidation, slippage, fees, funding, oracle behavior, and liquidity can produce losses faster or at a different price than expected.
Controls are not guarantees
Stops, take-profit orders, frontends, networks, and support channels can be delayed or unavailable. Keep exposure small enough that a failed control or delayed close remains bearable.
04 / FAQ
Frequently asked questions
01Which network and asset should I transfer?
Use only the exact combination shown in the live Alpha X funding flow for your account and also offered by your CEX withdrawal screen. This guide intentionally names none because availability can change.
02How large should the test transfer be?
Use the smallest amount that remains above the current sending and receiving minimums after displayed fees. Re-check both interfaces immediately before submitting.
03The CEX says complete, but Alpha X shows no balance. What now?
Do not resend. Verify the transaction on the appropriate explorer, the destination wallet or account, required confirmations, and live Alpha X status. Escalate through official support with the transaction hash only.
04What leverage is safe for a first trade?
There is no universally safe leverage. If you proceed, use settings you understand and a position whose complete loss you can bear; inspect the live liquidation and margin information first.
05How do I know the mission is complete?
You have verified the funding trail and actual order state. If you intended to close, the live interface shows zero remaining position and no unintended open orders, and you can reconcile fees and PnL.
06Is this financial advice?
No. It is an operational safety checklist, not a recommendation to fund Alpha X, select a market, use leverage, or trade.
